Early Detection of Microbial Spoilage in Perishable Foods

Microbes can proliferate in a range of different foods ranging from fresh produce to ready-to-eat food products. By developing sensitive hyphenated techniques for analysis, this project will reduce workflow for detecting bacteria in food time to near-real time.
